Stuck on Earth with the humans. That's OK. I like humans. I like their cats better. Not the real ALF, just parody, all respect to Paul Fusco and Alien Productions. Mastodon: @theolalfer@tenforward.social Author's personal account: @john-pilgrim.bsky.social

01.03.2026 05:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Three panel meme, created by author. First panel at top shows Boimler and Mariner from Lower Decks in the bunkroom. Boimler is holding a padd. Next to him are the words "Hey I found this great new thing from 20th century Earth..." Mariner is sitting on a bunk and looking supremely uninterested. Next to her are the words "mmm...really Boims?" In panel two, we see an excited Boimler. Above him are the words "But I love 20th century Earth!" In panel three, Mariner is responding "Boimler, even people who lived in 20th century Earth didn't love it that much!"
// I hope Trek eventually discovers there are other centuries.
01.03.2026 00:32 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I haven't figured this out. I set up a profile showing my Orbit Guard experience, my Phlegm dealership and my stint as an underwear model, as well as my cat gourmet hobby experience. And no takers. π

I LOVED those old wireless home phones! But then again, I'm immune to your brain tumors, so there's that.
28.02.2026 18:56 β π 6 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0// Lol. How about Friday Night Trek? Clear eyes, full hearts, good day to die!
28.02.2026 18:28 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0It does. It's inspiring.
28.02.2026 03:35 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I so loved S3 of Picard.

Just got off the phone with Dave Manak, contributor to PLOP! and artist of all 50 issues of the ALF comic book.
He's not on here, but was happy to hear of BlueSky's ALF jones. He does commissions!

Also I live with this great family, the Tanners. The dad is this great guy Willie. We have our little disagreements of course. Like Willie gets a little miffed when I blow up his kitchen. Or get him arrested. Or gamble away his savings. And I get a little miffed when he complains about these things.
27.02.2026 02:39 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0// Yeah, I admit when I travel I often pick BK because I like their chicken sandwich. But there are smaller stores and chains that are often better.
27.02.2026 01:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0// an excellent reason to not go. But there is no Burger King chain store in my town anyhow. Lol, I live in the one place in the US where it's not even allowed to operate.

OK. Every now and then, for the benefit of new people here, I should reintroduce myself.
Hi! I'm ALF! I'm an alien from the planet Melmac. I came to Earth years ago when my planet exploded. They even did a TV series on it, on NBC. If you're old, you might remember it!
The series, not NBC...
I'm sorry, sir, but you're gonna have to hand over your badge. You've been demoted to "Star Wars".
26.02.2026 03:53 β π 10 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0// Hope that doesn't put people off from eating out. π¬ Certainly not all stores are bad.
25.02.2026 23:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0// Maybe times have changed? I've worked in fast-food places and know that they just pay lip service to cleanliness more often than not. It's always less important than waiting on customers or stocking up. Also guarantee if a store is short-staffed, cleaning is where they're cutting corners.

25.02.2026 21:33 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0ALF, naked as a jaybird, eating an onion
Lynne dressed as Miles Hunt on holiday
Brian in a horrible, yet slightly desirable, sweater
Willie in a pink shirt drinking from one of DEVO's hats
In an episode jam packed with questionable fashion choices you'll be pleased to know ALF remains resolutely nude.

THIS WEEK: ALF eats an onion.
We thought this action, which went unremarked upon, was incredibly funny. We put in a call to Paul Fusco to ask who was tasked with taking the bite out of the onion, and the response was "That's a pretty big bite. Doesn't look human."

This is truly an excellent cherry pie, Kate! Really wonderful! Willie and the kids are gonna love having this after dinner tonight...
25.02.2026 19:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I mean, I gotta go with the T.A.R.D.I.S. Pretty much indestructible, can go anywhere in space and time, easy to park, and doesn't require a crew to operate. Plus, ample room inside.
25.02.2026 00:38 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0// I'd ask if a storm is coming, but from my (admittedly small) recollections, that's 'standard Florida day'.
24.02.2026 23:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Humph. More efficient just to go around nekkid.
24.02.2026 21:12 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Humph. No lunch is worth a mile run. A MILE! That's FOUR times around that cursed track!
