Decision making seems odd. Keep two kickers rostered but play the one who isn’t 100%. Right guard competition and cornerback decisions took a long time to get to. It all seems scattered and without focus on just winning the next game. Is this good process?

Bring back McCarthy (ala Saleh) to try and run the table just for shits and giggles? Make him a senior advisor and make MLF transfer all playcalling duties to him? It would be more fun than whatever this is.

Can we fire MLF and bring back McCarthy to pony up for a playoff run just for the entertainment value? Or Jim Leonard? Paul Christ? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Anything other than an offense designed to run 3 yards plays and not score more that 2 times a game.

In addition, he openly talks about not being another mediocre politician once in office. People are clamoring for elected officials who will actually do things once in office to make lives better and not just play the performative political game. Hope he can follow through

Running on 60% of first down plays behind a line who can’t run block is troubling. That game planning decision lead to a 73/27% pass run ratio on all other downs. Makes it a lot easier to play defense when GB is this out of whack.

MLF dialed up 15 runs on 1st downs versus 10 passes by my count. 60/40 split in a game designed to favor the pass. It felt like watching the 1970s Packers playing futile offense. Predictability on 1st downs led to unbalanced passing on 2nd and 3rd. Why does MLF make this so hard?

Running behind a suspect oline on 60% of 1st down plays and averaging 4 yards a carry is bad football with or without Kraft. Feel bad for 85 but hopefully GB reimagines their identity now that he is officially out for the season. Time to put big boy pants on MLF and start coaching to dictate terms.

Panthers wanted GB to run the ball on 1st down. The only way they win this game is if GB runs on 1st behind a substandard run blocking line. And MLF not only goes all in on it but doubles down and does it for a full game, instead of switching up after halftime. 15 runs on 25 1st down plays ain’t it

GB ran the ball on 15 out of 25 first downs yesterday. That is a 60 percent clip. Behind a line that struggles to run block. And suffered an injury to their LG early on. This isn’t informed decision making. It’s coaching by feel and emotion.

GB ran the ball on 15 out of 25 1st downs yesterday. It was like watching the John Brockington GB offense from the 70s. Predictable. And the lack of execution in the ground game lead to predictable pass calls on 2nd/3rd downs. In a game that is skewed to promote the pass. Game planning is broken.

GB ran on 15 out of 25 1st downs yesterday and then was forced (because of mediocre ground game) to pass on long 2nd/3rd downs. Looked like 1970s GB football out there. In a game skewed to the pass, MLF seems like someone is holding his family hostage in his commitment to a poor run game.

GB ran the ball on 15 out of 25 first downs yesterday. Predictable much? Run on first and hope for 4 yards but probably get a holding call or 2 yard gain. Then run horizontal/screen pass game on 2nd or 3rd. Game planning is so broken. Maybe with Kraft out they will be forced to try spread offense.

GB ran the ball 15 out of 25 times on first down yesterday by my count. Looked like 1970s GB ball. Run on 1st. Pass on 2nd and 3rd. Lose game. Game planning is broken on this team. When do we see GB starting a drive with 5 WRs and hurry up offense to stress soft zones. Do anything else maybe?

It’s hard to win in the NFL. Why make it harder by continually running the ball on 1st down behind a substandard interior offensive line MLF? Why? The arrogance amazes me. Tired of the hubris

What is up with running game? It’s still struggling up front. Little better at end tonight but I don’t trust MLF to put it on shelf for Love, at least to start games, going forward. Do you?

Totally predictable that GB would let McManus kick on Sunday when he was a no go on Weds and has missed a few weeks. The staff really blows it on managing stuff like this.

Loved your breakdown of the Love INT. Is it odd that the timing/spacing on the concept routes was so poorly executed? Third down play and 2 WRs run into each other within a yard of the line of scrimmage, after a bye. Is Golden that raw? Seemed like they never practiced that route at full speed

GB plays a lot of zone on D. Seems like teams get a read on our vanilla zone drops (especially Quay) and then attack that in the short passing game. We then don’t have an answer. It’s all β€œallow short easy completions and then tackle” which eventually starts to work. Why can’t we mix it up?
