Eh, I don’t think it cuts that way. I’m reading this pretty plainly. If someone accuses a parent of abuse, and lodges a complaint, and that is not true, then there are financial damages. That seems to be pretty cut and dry. What’s confusing is that it’s coming from a side that has made false claims

Making this even more confusing as to why ~she~proposed this. I’m running through the implications and…it can’t bode well for someone, say, falsely accusing an uncle of “grooming” his nephew.

Can someone make sense of this for me??? Wendy Rogers— who made wild threats of child abuse against parents who took their kids to drag shows and told other parents to call CPS—just produced a bill that would have essentially made her liable of that exact thing?

I'm currently trying to write a narrative and I'm stuck thinking, "how should I craft this to make someone who DOESN'T normally trust us, learn to trust us?" I've been doing this a lot frequesntly, primarily with family members in mind—as if I'm writing for them.
