Car shopping is the worst 😅

As we begin our 7th move in 9 years (yeah, I know 😅), I’m extra thankful for my Goose. As long as she gets to come with, she just goes with the flow.

I have two questions for people who walk around NYC with hiking poles: What the fuq? And why the fuq?

Dealing with my fourth job related crisis* in less than two years is really annoying.

*too dramatic of word, but oh well.

Being asked by the chamber of commerce to be a mentor for small businesses, and then hours later basically being told by my boss I’m doing almost nothing right, is quite the whiplash of a day.

Seeing a video of myself and not immediately cringing at how my body looks is always a nice feeling. Been going through it lately with the self hate 😅✌🏼

The fact I was able to identify a movie based solely on a picture my friend sent of Carol Burnett’s name during the credits probably isn’t a useful skill, but it is kind of impressive.

Blessed with a pup who’s okay to have a lazy weekend when I feel like 💩

If you’re not (lightly) roasting a celeb that walked in your store, are you even someone that rarely recognizes celebrities? 🤣🤭

Apparently I worked myself so hard yesterday (5 minute break during 12 hours of standing in the sun work) that I almost passed out. And that was not fun ✌🏼😌

Every time the tiny shop I manage is shared by a big outlet, people comment that “xyz shop is smaller”. And it’s always one at least twice as big as ours 🤦🏼‍♀️

We had people come all the way from New Zealand yesterday to visit our tiny NYC shop. I think the logical next step would be for another New Zealander (@melanielynskey.bsky.social) to visit the shop 👀

Chopped my hair the shortest it’s ever been and having a slight crisis over it. But anyways, here’s my current hairs.

Just dropped my girl off for a lil surgery. Nothing major, but my anxiety isn’t aware of that 😅

As a natural born loud mouth, I know all these customers ignoring me as I say “hi” can hear me, and I do hold a personal grudge against each one. 😤

I know people mean well when they say I’ll do well in the entertainment industry because I have a “good face for it”, but I really hope I make it one day on talent 🤦🏼‍♀️
