‘It’s where our heart is.’ New Edition to be honored in Roxbury. - The Boston Globe Boston will honor New Edition, the Roxbury-born R&B group, on Aug. 30 as part of “For the Culture Week,” which also celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

More than 40 years ago, legendary R&B group New Edition formed in Boston. Now the group is set to receive a day and street in the city dedicated to them.
