A terrible reflection on the paper this one. But important to remember the (freelance) journalist in question had a brief and interviewed a real person for 45 minutes, something that was organised by a PR firm on behalf of a client. The major fail here was the editors publishing it without checks.

It's a very low bar but I can't fault the effort today or indeed the way the manager set the team up. Ultimately you can't compete with a top team with 13 fit players and that's on the board.
