The newer ones - particularly the Space Wolves - are getting a lot of the old firstborn style bleeding through which is nice. But it's not really enough to make each marine stand out as an individual, which was the big strength of firstborns imo

Is it really that controversial of an opinion that the original primaris stuff - intercessors, assaults, hellblasters etc. lack any real individuality? And that they could stand to have access to some more customisation options?

The Arachnae was surprisingly very enjoyable to build and paint, and also a good portion bigger than expected! Big enough to make it difficult to take photos with my little box! 🤭

Weathering is always a good time while the paint scheme is a bit on the simpler side.

Don't forget Iron Hand, primarch of the Iron Hands, whose flagship is named Iron Hand.

It'd take elements of each of the 5 Gundams. The comms array from Heavyarms, the layered chest armour from Deathscythe etc. If I continued it would get a miniaturised buster rifle and beam saber holster in the shoulder. Not figured out how to work in sandrock and shenlong though.

I'm not a traditional artist. I draw so rarely that I may as well never have dome so. But I have in my mind the vision of a GM, but in Gundam Wing. It would be what the colonies would have produced based on the Operation Meteor Gundams, rather than Oz basing their suits on Tallgeese.
