Blackburn born, wandered since. Lucky to work at MPFT providing Specialist Inpatient Mental Health clinical training. Views are my own, or stolen from people much smarter than me. I'm probably happily reading somewhere.

I did expect us to go sponsorless like the Port Vale kit....I wonder if it's a case of having a completely blank one for the anniversary game, or a stealth sponsor that blends in perfectly

Rivalries aside, and hopefully it's not just petty one-upmanship, but this is how you treat women's football πŸ‘πŸΌ clear statement of parity and a vision to build

I've always thought I'm resistant to harmful addictions, don't smoke, drink, do drugs etc. but yet without fail I abuse my mind by going back to Rovers. How do I stop Paul!?

β€˜A student’s perspective on the current state of nurse education’ | Nursing Times Saphir Davies analyses the nurse education system in the UK from the perspective of a recent graduate, highlighting weaknesses and room for improvement.

Interesting read and highlights a few things I think MPFT do really well, as well as some of the challenges we all face at the moment.

Apparently marks the ascendency of the women's game, tbf I'd forgotten about it til I saw the Spurs game the other night

Watching #AtletiBarca and this Barca team is an absolute joy to watch, like watching 2010 team all over again, fluid, incisive, absolute fun!

Exactly, hoping that we come back after internationals with some players back and some semblance of tactics/fitness, just find it so odd that players who have worked for each other and been so positive look utterly lost and frustrated. Clubs toxic from top to bottom

I'm normally one of the positive ones no matter what, but I look at the club now, no1 will want to play for this manager, No1 wants to play/manage for the owners, the academy lads get thrashed most weeks now,the backroom staff are leaving in their droves. I'm genuinely scared 😳

I'm not so fussed, saves us having to find buyers for unwanted players after we beat Burnley in the playoff final πŸ‘€ (ok, on reflection I will stop commenting now)

..around us, and I think everyone we have brought in (maybe not Forshaw) will feel they have something to prove so will be hungry and give 110%! Proper JE players for me

On the face of it we have far too many. No real space for Leonard if he returns from injury, Tyjon won't get the bench time any more, harsh to drop Weimann/Gueye's minutes after recent performances, maybe too much competition. Covered for lots of injuries now, without spending a fortune like those..

I feel like Woodrow is more likely to be able to hit the ground running, Dennis might need a few games to get up to speed. Transition from one to the other as well as MG over the months, saves us having to rush Yuki (who I'd give an extended break to) back

I tend to consider myself one of the more pragmatic and balanced #Rovers fans around....but honestly supporting us in January is just horrendous! I get our limited players work hard, but the injuries we get and knowing we won't sign many (if any) until the final day of the window is soul destroying!

Just been clearing out my front room and found this under my bed.

I think it may of been my grandads.

Can anybody help me to find out what it was?

I'm sure I saw links with him coming to us on loan earlier in the season.....goes to show what absolute nonsense some people come out with! Although I'm not sure he's consistently this good!

Biggest achievement of this JE team, we went 2-0 up and for the first time in about 5 years I didn't expect us to throw it away. There's always the next match though πŸ˜‚ #Rovers

Credit to the OP (when he gets here), but you've gotta love to see these things! Obviously Leicester, Ipswich etc would have accumulated more if they'd stayed in, so too the relegated 2 (sorry Luton) but it's nice to be hard to beat #Rovers #BRFC
