Big and small, I've had single-person businesses rip me to shreds over how their colors turned out on newsprint, and have worked with huge companies with THICK brand guidelines with every detail of their brand identity laid out and enforced with an iron fist. But I guess all of that stuff doesn't matter anymore? Who gives a fuck if this Al generated baby has six fingers, that mom-and-pop shop is still going to use it. That rug from Temu says Happy Thanksgivirg? Oh well haha it's just a silly funny thing now (nevermind that you never would have given a B-grade item from a craft show the same consideration). I don't actually care that the Al Coca-cola ad has a truck that changes size every scene, but I can't help but think about how, if it had been some poor underpaid artist, they would have been laughed out of the building. I don't really know how to put it in a succint way but it just feels all the more obvious how much more grace and flexibility has always been possible but never offered.

Hoyo did it again. Usually Main Story is hit or miss across all the Hoyo games to me. 2-d writing, or getting lost in the weeds, but their their character quests are solid. I finished Seeds story in ZZZ and was a mess. Odd girl, but wonderful exploration of mortality.

The world beyond my cabin reeks of irresponsible parents foisting their responsibilities upon the world. Now I'm thinking how funny it would be for fencers to protest by sparring with dildos or other phallic objects in the open.

Comic strip by Stephen Collins, it begins with a nighttime city scene. In the next few panels, a mysterious figure, giant in the moonlight, walks towards us through the skyline. His feet echo "boom, boom" in the empty night. A large title panel declares this character's name: THE TW*T COLLECTOR. He stands, giant, unseen in the empty city night, wearing a big pointy hat on his head, and a sort of long smock. He is carrying a large sack in his hand. Slowly, he raises his arm, his arm extends, freakishly long, longer still, through the open window of a tower block. It reaches inside someone's home, and slowly withdraws, now clutching a protesting, terrified man. The man's wife comes to the window to watch his departure. slowly, the giant raises the little man and inspectes him in his hand. After a pause, the man says "b-but I'm not a tw*t!" There is another pause, after which his wife, calmly from off screen, says "you are a tw*t, dear". The Tw*t Collector summarily throws the man in his bag, which we now see is full of screaming people and is labelled TW*TS, then stomps off into the distance, through the moonlit city.

I ventured out into the world to obtain sustenance. Returning to the cabin, I kept my button shirt on but left it completely open. It's a fantastic feeling considering the heat roasting this abode daily. I never wear my button shirts inside for comfort reasons, but this is nice.
