That’s fair, at the game’s initial reveal I was very pessimistic about the roster prospects - I do think the SEGA picks will probably be ‘safe’, but after Sonic Rumble added Upa Upa from Galactic Protector and M2’s Fantasy Zone ports, I can never be too sure!

FWIW, the speculation behind Arle stems from the fact we are actually getting a slew of free, SEGA centric characters for the first year (as opposed to the paid DLC being non-SEGA stuff)

Iizuka’s alluded to the selection being akin to All Stars Racing, so I do expect one or two deep cuts
