This became a seemingly separate tangent, but it is relevant, as Stripe's hypocrisy on protecting consumers from harmful material is contradicted by their supposed AI that will no doubt fumble thousands of business's money. It is not a matter of if, but when.

It feels far too coincidental that these bans are being pushed as AI companies are teasing 18+ offerings on a global scale. Stealing sexual expression for a quick buck? It is damning. It is sleazy. You may not like someone "gooning", but you must fight like hell for them to have that right.

I do not have any interest in 18+ work, but that does not mean I do not care that it be allowed to exist. As an adult, you have a right to excite. Your stories, artistry, and bodies are a part of autonomy. Fighting for it is common sense. Denying their place in society is detrimental.

For a company that tried to pull a Visa/Mastercard in denying pornography for adults, it certainly enjoys assuming consent for AI. I will send a physical letter demanding to know why this was considered a good idea. I implore you do the same.

If you choose to opt out, they still strongly encourage you to use the generated dispute as a manual maneuver. Do you think I am irrevocably incapable of gathering evidence for disputes that I require a hallucinatory machine for these delicate matters? Are you insulting my intelligence, Stripe?

The email does provide a way to opt out of this program, but that is not the point. They are assuming consent to this... thing. I do not want a robot automating payment disputes. That is money on the line. I want to handle it manually.
Perhaps a new wave of calls is in order.

There has been a plague of such activity within Discord as well. Bots will join servers, ask others if they stream, and promise the heavens with "affiliate" programs that supposed streamers could provide for a price. It is damning, disgusting, and a disgrace.
