The morning has been spent cataloguing and valuing a large collection of travel posters including 21 by Emil Cardinaux. His designs (this is from 1921) were very influential in the way Switzerland saw and represented itself in the early 20thC.

Inks. Next I’ll start working on the highlights with gouache. After more touches with ink I’ll scan it and colour it.

in the first panel i am in the shotgun seat in a car yapping. I say, "I've been such an evangelist of probiotics lately that everyone is accusing me of being sponsored. It's been really working for me, I don't get gassy anymore, and I feel energized. I haven't felt this way since highschool! Since it's on sale at costco right now, I want to buy a bunch!" In the second panel I hold up two fingers. I say, "I'm thinking of getting two packs!" And then I think, "costco packs are huge." In the next frame, I am looking out of the window, and the car lights have illuminated someone pushing a cart in the parking lot. I say "Wow, that guy has a lot in his cart, what are those-" The next panel shows the man with a LOT of boxes in their cart. An arrow points at the boxes and is labeled "~20 entire bulk boxes of only probiotics. (6 packs per box, so ~120 packs???)". Another arrow says "unmistakeable distinct packaging". In the background, I have stuck my head out the side window of the car, and my jaw has practically dropped to the floor. The following caption narrates my thoughts, and says "Turns out I'm still a beginner when it comes to loving probiotics." In the final panel, I'm holding a box of probiotics. I say, "I think i'll buy one whole box of probiotics (6 packs)." and I think, "I have to get stronger! I can't lose...!"
