Its amazing to see the ethical cowardice of those who praise Trump but slam Witkoff. Witkoff has been appointed by Trump, promoted by Trump, praised by Trump and represents Trump at important meetings. He is Trump's creature completely. Criticize both of them or neither.

Two things here :
- you can start a sane business without burrowing,
- scale and due diligence matter. It's not "some", it's the whole fucking liquidity of US VC, and when you burrow, there's checks that your business is at least moderately sane, not "I will pay 13 to get 1 forever"

Confusing, right? One might also be confused by the Bloomberg story called "Inside The First Stargate Al Data Center," which had the subheadline "OpenAl, Oracle and SoftBank hope that the site in Texas is the first of many across the US." More-confusingly, the piece talked about Stargate LLC, which OpenAl, Oracle and SoftBank were (allegedly) shareholders of. Yet I have confirmed that SoftBank never, ever had any involvement with the site in Abilene Texas. It didn't fund it, it didn't build it, it didn't choose the site and, in fact, does not appear to have anything to do with any data center that OpenAl uses. The data center many, many reporters have referred to as "Stargate" has nothing to do with the "Stargate data center project." Any reports suggesting otherwise are wrong, and I believe that this is a conscious attempt at misleading the public by OpenAl and SoftBank.
