It's worth the drive!

Where Tulabi Lake turns into Tulabi Falls and starts to descend over boulders of bedrock - one of my favourite spots to stand and listen to the rushing water. Out of frame to the right is a very tall cliff with a stunning overlook point.

Saw them band several swamp sparrows (the most abundant visitor there this year), a Nelson's Sparrow which was a lifer for me, a ruby-crowned kinglet and a butterbutt. Haven't had a chance to download the bird pics yet but here's their tally for this season.
