Slams dunks another attack down! This is an attack on @wobblefowl.bsky.social quack quack who am I to not draw a furby adjacent type character? Plus his colors made me think of my own Robot Gal Lunette so I drew em together!

Pixel art of steakhousegoblin's character Jari, their LEGO Monkie Kid sona who I think is an anthro purple cow?
I meant to share all my Art Fight attacks here as I posted them, but it didn't turn out that way. Oops! Anyway, here's a thread of all my stuff so far:
First up: steakhousegoblin! This one's a late revenge for art I got last year.

11.06.2025 14:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Original Furby manual:

Both versions of the Furby Trainer's Guide:

archive.org/details/furb...
Scan from Official Furby Trainer's Guide (1999). "Q. How do I know if my Furby is a boy or a girl? A. Furbys are similar to angels. They are not divided into male or female - they embody the best of both. Some people believe that you can answer this question by the pitch of the voice, but we like the angel theory more!"
Minor correction: This is a real quote, but not from the manual. It's from the Furby Trainer's Guide, which was unofficial.
Later the book was updated + republished with Tiger's approval. The quote was untouched, so yes, it is arguably canon! As far as I know there's nothing that contradicts it.
Screenshot of the rules panel on my Twitch stream page. Rules not relevant to the thread have been dimmed out, and changes have been highlighted in yellow. The relevant rules read: "Be kind and respectful: This is a safe space (sentence highlighted). Hate speech and bigotry are not welcome here. Avoid drama and heavy topics: I want this stream to be a comfortable escape. (Entire line is highlighted.) Use common sense: If it would bother me or the rest of chat, even if it wasn't expressly covered in this list, don't post it."
Thanks for the input, everyone! How's "avoid drama and heavy topics" as a replacement?
I've also added "This is a safe space" to the description of an earlier rule (be kind and respectful). It already said "hate speech and bigotry are not welcome here" but I figure there's no harm in extra clarity.
If anyone has any advice let me know. I feel like if I'm not more clear then I've unwittingly made myself apolitical, despite believing that apoliticism is actively harmful and benefits those in power.
My platform is tiny and duck-sized but it's still a platform and I want to use it properly.
For now I added a clarifying note but I'd rather be succinct enough to not need that.
I also want to make my leanings more overt so I added the progress pride flag to my stream overlay. I know it's not much but hopefully it'll make it just a bit more clear who's welcome and who's not.
I'm looking for something to replace my "avoid politics and drama" rule.
I worry that it's implying 'anyone can stay as long as you don't talk about your beliefs, good or bad' but it's meant to be more like 'let's make this a safe escape where we can briefly distract ourselves from [THE HORRORS].'
There's been talks of a possible Chuck Tingle DLC too
07.06.2025 20:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Yeah, there ARE good uses for it, it's just gotten muddled by a lot of people using it to mean different things.
That first one I listed is the one that's popped up the most frequently for me personally in my day-to-day, but the other meanings show up just enough to muddy the waters.
Weirdly I've also seen it used to refer to immigrants who have renounced their previous citizenship, which is completely contradictory to the other meaning I listed, making the word completely useless
31.05.2025 01:01 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If it's used to refer to someone who's temporarily residing somewhere where they're not a citizen, like a student studying abroad, then it has a unique use case.
But no, instead it often gets thrown around as a version of immigrant for 'acceptable' people 😒
OH and there's a feed to go with it of course:
