Lee: Would say it would be “illegal DEI” for a lesson plan on the Tulsa race massacre?
McMahon: I’d have to get back to you
Lee: Do you know what the Tulsa race massacre is?
McMahon: I’d like to look into it more and get back to you on it.

Once a TV huckster, always a TV huckster. These aren't "audiences." They're people.
The reason these folks didn't go on the exchanges in the first place is because they don't make enough money. Oh, and they're cutting the ACA subsidies too so even more people will lose insurance.

Mr. Buttigieg’s response:
“I guess the fact that I inspired him to make a literary reference, possibly for the first time…..” is genius.
Buttigieg is quickly becoming one of my heroes.

Really enjoyed the new documentary Beatles '64 on Disney. Martin Scorsese hs created a film that places the Beatles's first trip to the U.S. in historical and cultural context. This film communicates why the Beatles and that trip became so important.

I appreciated that this film works to place the Beatles into cultural and historical context, communicating how they were important and why there were important on so many different levels (at least seven... 😁). By doing that, it makes the case of why they are still relevant.

Trying out Bluesky. It looks promising, especially since it’s decentralized, unlike FB, which is quite centralized.
