Hes showing his class, we've seen flashes of quality, and willingness to graft. All in hes standing up well to the championship, perhaps needs to impose himself more on the game but for a lad his age he's showing loads of maturity.

Thought we lacked width last night, condensed our game too much, and gave us a tough job to cover gaps when Stoke won the ball back. Understand why we played 4 at the back, but think the Christmas tree played right into their strength and size through middle. #boro

I'd get Browne on for Hackney for a bit more nouse, and change one of the 10s for Nypan or Hansen. Need more control and more forward guile.

Good to see Lenihan back; he looked knackered at the end, Nypan looking the biz, Whitakker needs a spark so we see the obvious talent shine, Strelec looks like he will be a handful. 5 games, top of the league. Feels good.

OK with the result today, think the starting 11 looked flat and Hackney didn't look the same player we've seen so far this season. Edwards saw what we all saw and changed it, that is a huge step forward from last season. Proactive changes, positive subs, made a difference. #boro

Yup, streaming from mobile phones is awful - just cos you can doesn't mean you should.

100%, the quality I'm getting through my decent speakers is superb. I'm trying to teach the kids the wonders of it, physical media should never die.

I might dig my mini disc player out too, I made some great compilations. Quality of audio on physical media is so much better than streaming... I only have recordable mini discs, but got tonnes of CDs.

Bought a pristine 1991 Sony 5-disc CD player off eBay, just arrived today. Cost about 40 quid. I always wanted one as a kid/teen but could never afford one. I loaded it with 5 random Shine discs and switched it to shuffle... it's utter musical wonder. Screw Spotify, long live physical media.

Knock it down. Sell the scrap. Say we ran out of money and couldnt build the replica. Its a con.

He had one significant spell out, but when fit he was played as a winger, or used as an impact sub. Don't get me wrong, if he'd shown quality in training he would've been used up top regularly... but, as we saw with Stuani, you cant expect peak performance when you're asked to play out of position.

Sorry to see Forss leave #Boro, talented player, great touch, excellent finisher, and top workrate. But he was wasting his career waiting for a run of games, and has rarely been used in his actual position. Good luck to him, great signing for Bolton.

I actually quite like Engel, he just wasn't well suited to Carrickball; it exposed him really badly (as it has every left back we had during his time at the club). He would probably operate pretty well in current system IMO.
