Forged by Asteria, Yánzhēn fell to the mortal realm during a great famine that occurred after the first war against the false God. There, he learned hunger, failure, and how even fire, misused can destroy what it seeks to nourish.

Sylas weaves offerings into the hidden veils of temples. When others ask him why he follows Aphellion,

He answers:

“Because when no god spoke to me, ..He still stayed.

He stitched them together with reverence, and when he listened, they spoke.

The other oracles feared him.
The priests called him a relic.
The stars still refused to name him.

But Aphellion had looked at him once, and in that look, he had been seen.

The next morning, Sylas awoke reborn. Not fully mortal. Not fully divine. But claimed. He finally belonged somewhere. With time, he began to feel and hear the whispers of other things. Old echoes, tangled memories caught in the ruins of broken altars.

In that moment, Aphellion knelt in recognition of a soul that did not break under the gravity of silence. Sylas was one who belonged to it. Aphellion wrapped a veil around him and left a single filament of his divine thread coiled in Sylas’ palm.

So they left him in a half-sunken ruin at the edge of Axxion’s temples, the place where many once went to forget, and perhaps he would have faded there.
But someone was already watching.
One night, when even the moon turned her face, the God of Void, Aphellion appeared.

He was incomplete, a fragmented soul caught between resonance and ruin. Those who sensed him said he made the air feel too still, too heavy. That when he tried to speak as a child, his words tangled in silence. His presence was called unsettling, his aura too quiet, too strange.

He wears a sleek, black ceremonial coat adorned with silver chains, relic charms, and cross motifs, giving him the air of a cosmic priest or executioner. His long, pale lavender-pink hair drapes like a soft veil over his void-toned silhouette, catching glimmers of light in an otherwise shadow-bound palette. The inner panels of his coat feature detailed jellyfish and abyssal creature motifs in soft plum and mauve, subtle nods to Aphellion’s Abyssal influence.
