What a horrible week. I'm laying low, being kind to myself, writing, watching sports and comfort shows. There's also been more drinking than I would prefer, but I'm allowing it for now.

For the first time in about 20 years, it's November and I'm not starting a NaNoWriMo project. I deleted my account due to the scandals - with their AI nonsense as the final nail in that coffin- so I know I made the right choice for me. And I'm still writing. But I loved NaNo, and I'm sad today.

One of my favorite things about being Old is that I have no clue who all of these villainous streamers, YouTubers, gamers, etc. are. The ignorance is truly bliss.
