In the year of our Lord 2024… On Transgender Day of Remembrance…In what should be the epicenter of freedom…We have the declaration that transgender women cannot use women’s restrooms in the capital. Trans women are women. No asterisk needed.
What an embarrassment.

Joining this community has been a huge blessing as I have been navigating the waters of coming out as a gay man. I have found it to be a place of refuge in the midst of the storms. These people embody a curious embrace of mystery that creates space for lovely experiences of divine grace.
