A bald eagle calling out to its mate. They had been hunting ducks at Ridgefield NWR.

A pair of bald eagles frequently perch in the branches of a particular tree at Ridgefield NWR. Today they were calling out and mating at the top of the tree. 🫣 Though I did not get a photograph of them in action.

This small male Common Yellowthroat is in the warbler family. He has an olive-green back/wings, yellow throat/chest, and a distinct black face mask with a white forehead border. He was perched on a brown vine with green leaves against a blurred green background. Seen at Great Meadows NWR in Concord, Massachusetts.

This building is huge and shaped like a ship. The ceiling looks like the hull of a ship with ribs and lots of glass. The outer walls are also glass. People on the ground floor look like specks in comparison to the building. On the left is a curved wall of glass panes. On the right is wood and steel walls and balconies. There is a zig-zag skywalk going back and forth left and right half way to the top of the ceiling.

This photo focuses on the upper levels and ceiling with its rib-like structure and all the panes of glass. There are layers of balconies (four, I believe). The zig-zag skywalk extends from the balconies to the opposite wall of glass, then back to the balconies. It's a bit challenging trying to describe this building as there is a lot going on.
