Three barn owls look down at me from a ledge. It's an old digital camera in low light, and must have been at least a little zoomed in (they were on the 3rd floor) so the image is blurry and grainy, and unsettling. Everything is lit with a flash, including their eyes, which is also unsettling. The building appears to be a dark red, while the front edge of the ledge is white. The owls are adorable, though - the two on the left looking at me very directly, and the one on the right with a curious tilt to its head.

Barn owl kids on their ledge outside my window in Chennai, a long time ago. I remember they are thought to be omens of doom, and/or a blessing related to Lakshmi (India is confusing). I thought they were cute, albeit noisy.
