So this is pure gangsterism, and also premised on the absurd notion that the people of Minneapolis would just lie back and take it if not for Tim Walz saying mean things about ICE.

A big part of the story here is that women like Renee Good are braver and stronger than they could have ever imagined and that just doesn't fit with what MAGA men tell themselves about how gender works. It just does not compute.

People like Joel Berry are absolutely enraged right now. They perceive the rightness of the surge of anger against Trumpism and the decency and righteousness of people like Alex Pretti. They cannot endure those things, because they know they are petty, grubby, immoral, and sordid in comparison.
