Village of Savoy Firefighters are organizing with SEIU Local 73!

Today, firefighters employed by the Savoy Fire Department went public with their union drive to improve retention, communication, and transparency.

The U.S. Senate is set to vote on a war powers resolution today in response to President Trump’s decision to launch a military operation in Iran.

It’s time to end this unconstitutional aggression and safeguard working people in the U.S., Iran, and around the globe.

Today, SEIU Local 73 was certified as the bargaining representative for CPS Miscellaneous workers!

These workers include tutors, recess support staff, and more. We are excited to begin bargaining their contract and win the compensation and support they deserve.

SEIU Local 73 is deeply saddened by the death of Civil Rights Leader Reverend Jesse Jackson. We were honored to have him join our Union Summer Cohort in 2024. Our union will continue to work to uphold the legacy of his work. Rest in Power. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽

During the Super Bowl, you’re going to see ads from corporations responsible for working people’s pain. Ads were sold for over $8 million.
