That's the equivalent of one hour of work for 11 custodians.
We wonder if the parents know how Superintendents Colleen McKay and Carrie Tisch are spending their tax dollars.

Instead of meeting us at the table to negotiate a fair contract, Blue Island School District 130 hired a PR firm after we started speaking out against their racist and anti-union tactics.

That ain't right.

Last night, Blue Island Custodial & Maintenance workers spoke at the City Hall Meeting to hold the Board of Education accountable for allowing racist and anti-union attacks against us.
