A social media graphic titled Resistance Through Assistance features a quote in black typewriter-style font on a light beige background. The title is written in red cursive with a yellow highlight. The quote reads:
“Offering compassion and concrete help in response to fear and disruptive power... is something that many of us can do. It is a profoundly simple thing to put love at the center. If resistance to injustice takes the form of offering assistance to those most in need, almost all of us can help our neighbors.”
– Zeb Green

In the bottom left corner is a red heart made of two overlapping line-drawn hearts. In the bottom right corner is the red and orange Unitarian Universalist Association chalice symbol. The URL "UUA.ORG " is centered at the bottom of the graphic.

Justice isn’t only won in courtrooms or marches—it’s built through everyday acts of care. In “Resistance Through Assistance," Zeb Green calls us to put love at the center of resistance.

On a dark blue background, a quote in white and bolded text appears in the right 2/3rds of the graphic and reads:

“Every time I was at the Unitarian Universalist church, I felt welcome in a way I never had before...
It’s a place where everyone belongs and it’s okay to be who you are.
As a member of the church I have guidance, I have music, and I have an expanded chosen family.”
—David Kaye, Wisconsin

A pattern of bright pink musical instruments and audio equipment, including a guitar, trumpet, microphone, headphones, vinyl record, and keyboard, runs down the left side of the graphic.

At the top there's a red square with the white Unitarian Universalist (UU) flaming chalice symbol. To the right of this, in pink script, is text that reads “Faith Journey.”

In the top left corner is the UU World logo in white text on a blue background. In the bottom right corner is a red banner with white text with URL “uuworld.org."

🎶 David Kaye never expected a church to shape his life—but a Motown groove led him to Unitarian Universalism and a community where he could fully belong.

Grateful for UUs and UUA President Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, who joined national faith leaders in D.C. today to urge Congress to act for the common good. In heartbreaking times, we draw strength from shared values and moral courage.

ICE agents detained Jeanette Vizguerra—mother, grandmother, & immigrant rights advocate—without warning or due process. This is part of a broader pattern of targeting activists & asylum seekers to spread fear.

UU's are in solidarity with all who seek sanctuary.
