What was there vs what I saw. There was a big square battery indicator with 4 circles that looked like cat eyes on top and cat cheeks on bottom. What I saw is a cartoonish painting of a cat.

DIY party shed. Added a bunch of rusted metal to an ugly old shed and made a bar with scraps and leftovers attached to an old chest of drawers (cut to height). Next I’m adding a pea gravel floor and a gravel patio with fire pit out front.

Maiden voyage of the viper green kayak. Wonderful 4 hours but ended with a big thunderstorm. We sat on the bank in a downpour with lightning all around for 45 minutes. Went from unbearably hot to a bit too cool. Not too bad a trip all things considered.

A digital doodle

An Eastern Cottontail rabbit close up. The rabbit is lit from the left side by the late afternoon sun. It looks towards the camera, ears erect and with one large brown eye open and watching.

Back in the US, so the fauna is less exotic, but still quite interesting.
