We’ve lost a great voice in animation… RIP

In short, it’s fascinating but it still feels like the wrong solution to the the wrong problem and I’m worried about the consequences (social, environmental, cognitive, creative). But really curious to see your next post.

I also have constantly the impression that I’m fighting the machine, txt prompts are not great for making images and img2img workflows are still hacky and random. Also going back to the slot machine, I wonder if it triggers the same dopamine hits as gambling does.

I’ve started to use some comfy UI on the current project l. I’m working on a project and to generate novel views from existing pictures and the thing that shocks me is the slot machine principle. I’m pulling the trigger until I get the desired effect generating sooo much garbage.
