I watched some Bugs Bunny cartoons this morning. Yes, some of them are “dated,” to put it mildly. And then “What’s Opera, Doc?” hits, and that animated short is so tremendously great that I teared up when Elmer sings “Poor widdle bunny!” Chuck Jones was a god.
