Oh gosh, I’ve been there.

It’s just been sort of ever-present. Even while I wasn’t playing it I was thinking about it being unfinished. I was excited to get back to it and I looked forward to streaming it every week. And now it’s over.

I’m kind of having that empty feeling now that I’m done with FFXII (for now). It’s wild. Wild that games can make us feel this way. I started streaming it in late summer of 2024. I didn’t touch it for nearly a year and then I went right back to it when I started streaming again LAST late summer.

I've inserted FFXII into my ranking of Final Fantasy games. Number 4 of the 11 I've played isn't bad at all. It took me a minute to really get into 12 but once it clicked I had an amazing time.

Maybe instead of drawing lines in the sand about who the "real Final Fantasy fans" are you can just... Let people enjoy things? And play whatever they want? Nobody gives a fuck about whatever arbitrary prestige you're trying to assign to yourself

I just played it for the first time in January! I thought it was so beautiful, even having watched a play through shortly after it released.

After stream I got a head of steam and looked up some things that I wanted to find and realized I had immediate access to them. I'm ready to go. Only possible hitch is my levels are a TICK low so if things don't go my way again I'll just grind some out.

I didn't get around to attempting the final sequence this time. I spent MOST of stream trying to hunt down the Marilith, which took so long, and then I traveled around looking for upgrades to help prepare. Next time... next time.

Got a couple things from the State of Play but honestly the biggest moment was seeing TC Carson haha I had NO idea, ZERO, that he was the original Kratos and I got a huge blast of nostalgia off this! Living Single was one my favorite shows as a kid!
