It's worth it to learn for sure. I'm now at a point when I get bored of programming I switch to making music and vice versa. One thing I've found with making music is I've yet to get bored of it like I can with programming projects (especially larger ones)

Bought Pyxel Edit last night since it’s supposed to make tile creation easier. Stuck with Aseprite at first because it’s familiar, but I was struggling with a dirt texture. Tried it in Pyxel Edit. Wow, it’s so much easier!

Not too bad for simply following a pixel art grass tutorial and then obviously adapting it a bit to fit RPG Maker. Now I just need a small, barely noticeable texture for the dirt.

I was going through some of my old blender projects, doing a little bit of spring cleaning and I found this little gem.

I used just love messing around in Blender and making little worlds.

I feel ya but the far-left are also coming over here in mass and just talking non stop political topics, I hate it. Luckily, Bluesky seems to have a rock solid algorithm that seems to be listening to my "See less often" requests. I just want to see game dev, art and music while I'm here.

This is what I'm saying, something about Bluesky that feels good, like the ol' days when social media was decent, when it was about you and your day.

That is great to hear, I noticed while browsing that there is defnitely a good amount of game dev related posts and the engagment seems pretty good too.

How is Bluesky for indie devs? I'm looking for a new platform that has a deent audience and so far I like how Bluesky feels especially performance wise.
