I often see younger YouTube commenters romanticizing the ’80s, never mind the nuclear dread, Cold War paranoia, rampant AIDS, and unabashed materialism. A lot of the awfulness infiltrated the music. So here's a playlist of songs that only could have come from the ‘80s.
