Accountability Shock
Cambridge Core - Latin American Studies - Accountability Shock
Accountability Shock is out with CUP! It explains why transitional justice tools deter criminal wars in new democracies. Grateful to Guillermo Trejo and @juanalbarracind.bsky.social for an amazing collaboration and to all who shared their expertise with us.

Id submit as is. Id not say โit is long, happy to cutโ because the natural answer is โso, cutโ. Id not cut further if that means having to cut on things asked for the R&R

Political scientists here have rightly been dunking on other academic fields in which prominent figures appeared in the Epstein Files, but here's a prominent political scientist in the Epstein Files .... shaming the shit out of them.

They do not how to operate a bullhorn, how to work a crowd live, how to march, how to do all the things it would expected of them. They know to legislate, fundraise, and hire lawyers

This is my take too. It is a party organization prepared for institutionalized politics, not opposition to lawless authoritarianism

Until last year I would define the univ as AI curious. Thats no longer the case. It is not yet open opposition, but it is a much more suspicious stance

One thing about BC and other catholic schools is that, since the pope came out against AI, they became publicly and privately much more cautious
