Why does anyone listen to Farage's shite? He cynically panders to humankind's worst instincts and we all know it. Yet, depressingly, a large chunk of people either enjoy having their bitterness stoked or are too thick to realise it's happening.

Many of those often attacking Muslims for 'not respecting British values' are quiet about Muslim footballers refusing to wear rainbows. I imagine they feel like Buridan's donkey, only instead of a choice between two bales of hay, they can't decide which of their prejudices they wish to indulge.

I've heard serious folk with concerns over the quality of the legislation & flag-shagging lunatics criticise the assisted dying bill. It'd be nice to know I'll have the option if I need it. Plan B is to drink, go somewhere high, strip naked & hurl myself through the glass roof of a posh restaurant.

First of December. I'm old enough to remember when that date signaled the start of the Christmas period. I'd expect to see a few subtle reminders that the celebration was approaching. Tinsel in shop windows etc. Nowadays we have children masquerading as adults who've had a tree up for three weeks.

What's the best way to incorporate awareness of injustice and a desire for equality into a sandwich? Is it a paste? Trust the lefties to create a bloody equality paste.
