We’re officially on the ballot.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported this campaign from day 1 & welcome to those just joining us. This movement belongs to every Georgian who believes our future should meet our full potential.

It’s the honor of my life to run. I’m standing tall and ready to work.

Today, I officially filed to run for Governor of Georgia with Ariel by my side.

I walked into the Capitol surrounded by Georgians who believe in the future we’re building together.

Now the work continues — to deliver a stronger, more affordable Georgia where opportunity isn’t out of reach.

Appreciated the chance to meet and engage with leaders and neighbors in Southwest Atlanta.

Strong communities are built through conversation, partnership, and a commitment to the future.

Closed out a full day on the road in Clayton County at tonight’s forum with my favorite supporters. There’s nothing better than ending the day with my kids — they’re the reason this work matters so much. 💙

Conyers showed up.

Grateful to meet with the Rockdale Dems and talk about building a Georgia rooted in health, wealth, and opportunity. This is how we build momentum — one community at a time.

Great night to reconnect with my colleagues at the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus annual gala, “Legacy in Action, Progress in Motion.”

Inspired by the legacy of leadership and the work still ahead for Georgia.

I want to thank @ruwaromman.bsky.social for her commitment to affordability and the fight for Georgia’s working families- from raising the minimum wage to expanding Medicaid. I look forward to continuing to work with her to build a better state for all of us.

In 1973, Greenville elected Richmond D. Hill as Georgia’s first African American mayor — the result of years of rural voter organizing. Progress didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people organized. Black history in Georgia is about expanding opportunity and continuing the work.

Grateful for the warm welcome in Southwest Atlanta. Hearing directly from community members about their hopes, challenges, and vision for the future is what this campaign is all about. Conversations like these shape the future of our state — and I’m committed to building that future together.

Ahead of Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, I want to speak directly to Georgians about what’s at stake — and why leadership matters now more than ever.

Concepts of a plan aren’t enough. Voters deserve clear, concrete positions on the issues that affect their lives.

For 20 years, I’ve fought for public education as a teacher, father, school board chair, and state senator. I’m proud of the coalition of more than 100 educators across Georgia standing with us because they know education is the foundation of opportunity.

Thank you to Dr. Earl and Dr. Stacy for bringing folks together in Marietta for a great conversation about Georgia’s future.

I’m grateful for the chance to share our vision and hear directly from the community. This is how we build a stronger Georgia — together.

Last night I joined the Macon Bibb Democrats in honoring Congressman John Lewis on his birthday — a son of Georgia who taught us that real change requires courage and “good trouble.” The work continues.

It was an honor to join Teamsters Local 528 for their business meeting.

Unions built the middle class.

When workers are strong, Georgia is strong.

I’ll always stand with labor and fight for dignity of work.

But what matters more is standing tall for Georgia’s seniors and protecting the most vulnerable among us.

Thank you to the Lenbrook community for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversation.

Donald Trump promised to lower costs, but instead forced hardworking Georgians and small businesses like mine to pay for his illegal tariffs.

Georgians deserve stability, not Trump’s chaos. I’ll fight his expensive agenda every day as governor.

Strong communities are built through partnership. As governor, I’ll work alongside mayors and local leaders to strengthen our cities and expand health, wealth, and opportunity for every Georgian.

To everyone observing Ramadan, I wish you a peaceful and meaningful month.
Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and service to others — values that strengthen families, communities, and our state. May this season bring you clarity, compassion, and renewal.
