It’s the honor of my life to run. I’m standing tall and ready to work.

Today, I officially filed to run for Governor of Georgia with Ariel by my side.

I walked into the Capitol surrounded by Georgians who believe in the future we’re building together.

Now the work continues — to deliver a stronger, more affordable Georgia where opportunity isn’t out of reach.

Appreciated the chance to meet and engage with leaders and neighbors in Southwest Atlanta.

Strong communities are built through conversation, partnership, and a commitment to the future.

Closed out a full day on the road in Clayton County at tonight’s forum with my favorite supporters. There’s nothing better than ending the day with my kids — they’re the reason this work matters so much. 💙

In 1973, Greenville elected Richmond D. Hill as Georgia’s first African American mayor — the result of years of rural voter organizing. Progress didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people organized. Black history in Georgia is about expanding opportunity and continuing the work.

Last night I joined the Macon Bibb Democrats in honoring Congressman John Lewis on his birthday — a son of Georgia who taught us that real change requires courage and “good trouble.” The work continues.

It was an honor to join Teamsters Local 528 for their business meeting.

Unions built the middle class.

When workers are strong, Georgia is strong.

I’ll always stand with labor and fight for dignity of work.

They asked how tall I am.

6’6”.

But what matters more is standing tall for Georgia’s seniors and protecting the most vulnerable among us.

Donald Trump promised to lower costs, but instead forced hardworking Georgians and small businesses like mine to pay for his illegal tariffs.

Georgians deserve stability, not Trump’s chaos. I’ll fight his expensive agenda every day as governor.
