Its a very well made game but its a bit too safe in how similar it is to the first game with a story I overall felt was messier than its predecessor. If I were to rate it I feel id give it a 7/10 as it is good it just isn't anything you've not seen before.

Combat is fantastic with enemies dealing high damage on medium keeping you on your toes ontop of the fun rock paper scissors combat system.

My issues lie mainly in the story, I found atsu better written than Jin however had issues with the execution of story beats particularly with the yotei 6.

Additionally the music is really fantastic with the shimisen being used in each track, it never felt as though the music was generic background music like ive noticed in alot of triple A games but instead felt intentional and expertly made.

Ghost of yotei platinum! Honestly very mixed feelings on this game, its solid and exploring is mostly fun however its so similar to the first game I found myself getting bored at points.

Visually the game is stunning and I love the continued use of natrual markers such as smoke.

Honestly a top 3 games of this year so far! One of the most fluid 2d games ive played with great hand drawn visuals to boot.

I had bug which caused me to restart the games and still went for 100% so that shows its good 🤣

The game had some pretty neat mechanics too, I really liked that your shield refills over time and the upgrade system was really cool, i liked the risk and reward that came with it.

Just finished my first run of Earthion, I suck at Shmups so played it on easy though 😭

Such a great game honestly the visuals are amazing, its super fun and pretty accessible for the genre.

Yuzo Koshiro's music and sound design is just out of this world too, highly reccomend!

I do wish there were dash and dodge buttons though and that the demo was a bit more challenging, though regardless i still had a very good time!

I wish it had a better name but man adventures of elliot rocks! Highly reccomend checking out the demo I got serious zelda/YS vibes. As always for Team Asano games the music is so good too.

Probably now one of my most anticipated games!

Having not actually touched UI much in engine ive found out how much of a pain it is to make effective in my new Unity project i think this is the most complicated thing ive coded and designed 😭

After years of wanting too I finally read through the Akira manga!

I've loved the movie for as long as I remmember but wow the manga adds so much more to it complete with great artwork. Loved the themes of youth and politics within it.

Definitely reccomend it to anyone!

Been replaying through all of the Hazelight's games by Josef Fares and his team after beating split fiction, me and my girlfriend are having such a good time going through them! It's hard to believe how few co-op designed games there are out there in the AAA/AA space I'd love to see more like them.

Finally started playing FF14 again after 3 years (I've had to start over it had been so long 😅) and having a great time so far!
