The only thing keeping Sphene ex from being and S+ tier EX in my mind is that absolute authority can be cheesed with Heavy mitigation. But that's just a small blip in a fantastic fight.

It was an alright fight. I think out of all the Dawntrail EX's so far it's my least favourite. I don't think it's a bad fight though!

I hope we can get some more clarity or an update on what is happening on that front. Even something small but more than just "We're thinking of things" would be nice.

And honestly, it looks like something is going to have to happen sooner rather than later. Eventually FFXIV is going to reach a breaking point with it's 1.0 code. I can't speak to the development side of things, I have no idea what i'm talking about in that regard. But-

But regardless, the big problem here is FFXIV's extremely outdated Character creation system. What once must have been really good by like, 2010 standards is now far too outdated. Another example of 1.0's weird spaghetti code rearing its head.

If the reason that Mare was C&D'd was because they were using that same program that the stalker mod was using that sucks, but also that means another variation of mare arising in the future is not out of the question or anything. Maybe someone figure out a better path forward on that regard.

it's incredibly sad that Mare is being shut down. One thing about Mare and also the modding scene in general was allowing people to bypass the very limited character creator and actually create their Wol's and OC's based on themselves AND see how others expressed themselves too.
