Kind of devlog 1

Finishing up a short and simple score chasing shmup as my first gamedev exercise. Graze bullets to charge up your umbrella and shield yourself from the porple rain of bullets and gain points. Note to myself: I have to find a way to prevent floor hugging.

I am in a weird love-hate relationship with DMC. I love what these games stand for, but every single entry in the series has something painfully unsatisfying about it.
1 is awkward, 2 is 2, 3 has level design from hell, 4 has forgotten about the player, Remake is fine but sorta boring.

There are two people who have access to my old house. I can simply ask them to erase it if we feel too sad about the lonely Wulk.

I don't know what Animorphs are about, and at this point I am too afraid to ask. Every time I see a meme about it sounds like "And then Jake killed all those innocent children to save the world from the horrors, he's also a cat. This happens in the first chapter of the first book."
