February 24. I pruned the grapevine that I grew last year outside the workroom windows. I used the cuttings to make a wreath. I'd never made a wreath before, so I just twiddled around until there was a wreath.

I'm going to trim it with knitting.

There is so much pent up demand for joy and to believe in the future.

Rev. Jesse Jackson spoke at my high school in Athens, Georgia when I was a freshman. He was so kind, encouraging, and supportive while sharing with us how important standing up for each other, finding our own voice, and fighting for civil rights is. I have always admired and been inspired by him.

Me: I'm giving up using Microsoft Office until Easter.
