I'll say a few more words about this. I'm not saying you shouldn't care about this. You can. Me and you don't have to feel the same way about things. Because again, we have different experiences of both history and what's happening in the current moment.

I want to be clear about assimilation. It's not just a one way thing. The person who blocked me isn't just mad because I won't agree to feel the way they do about it. They're also upset because they assume I'm judging them for not feeling the way I do about it. One of us has to be "wrong".
