I’m really happy with that Hazbin finale. Season came together a lot better than season 1 did for me. It even got me to like Val just a lil.

That’s exactly it too. I get that it’s uncomfortable but that’s the point. It’d be completely unrealistic and I’d argue actually kinda offensive if Angel’s story was neatly wrapped and he completely emancipates and heals by the end of season 2. Abuse is messy and can go on for a long ass time.

I love it so far but the 8 episode seasons are killing me. I want more show, like maybe a couple bottle episodes with some of the plot spread just a little further would do the show wonders. I definitely prefer season 2 to the first season tho it’s getting better.

Read Fraction and Jimenez Batman #3 and it’s so refreshing how empathetic Fraction writes Bruce. It really gets to the core of Batman as a person trying to help people and that extends to his villains who he wants to see get better.
