24.11.2025 23:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Tomorrow in my election security course we dissect election denial BS, always fun. I'm grateful to the "election truth" conspiracy people for keeping the 2020 dream alive in 2024, giving us a steady stream of new (actually recycled) material. The pillow guy gets old after a while.
24.11.2025 21:24 β π 23 π 4 π¬ 1 π 1Sen. Mark Kelly has released a statement.
"If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies..."
amazing
24.11.2025 18:30 β π 2209 π 140 π¬ 40 π 8Oh dear, I had no idea that account has been saying the same thing for months and clearly does not want to actually understand elections. Thanks for the info so I can go about my day and read about Lindsay Halligan instead π
24.11.2025 18:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So, if that is what youβre asking for, I (who have been working with election officials for two decades) know that it is non-essential and wholly implausible. Not to mention, astronomically costly.
24.11.2025 16:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0What is a 100% audit? A recount of all races on all ballots? Do you envision that as being a hand count? In 2021 in Maricopa County, AZ, the Cyber Ninjas counted two races (on ballots that had up to 85 races on them) and it took them months (and proved to be a complete waste of resources).
24.11.2025 16:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And one more, pulled out of the soul collection.
24.11.2025 15:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0βA whole new set of vulnerabilities,βwhat does that even mean? Computers have been part of vote tabulation since at least the 1960s. All systems have vulnerabilities, but election systems in the US use a combination of physical and cyber security measures and auditing processes to reduce them.
24.11.2025 15:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0You still havenβt answered the question. Updates to election management systems are done via trusted builds, without connection to the internet. How did Musk gain physical access to the systems?
24.11.2025 14:29 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0But that's neither here nor there because this case is getting tossed on an MTD for lack of standing, just like Lake v. Fontes in AZ. (Where Plaintiffs' counsel was sanctioned under FRCP 11). They'll never have the opportunity to try to get their analyses into evidence. 3/3
23.11.2025 23:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0analyses admitted without the testimony of the people who conducted them, and if they don't have the requisite expert credentials, they're likely to be excluded under FRE 702. 2/3
23.11.2025 23:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's, ummm, not a good strategy. I notice that the PA Complaint includes allegations that they did statistical analyses "using expert methodologies of Roman Udot, Peter Klimek, and Sergei Shpilkin," but they don't say who did the analyses. They're going to have a huge problem getting those 1/3
23.11.2025 23:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This expert? bsky.app/profile/dbma...
23.11.2025 22:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Seems like 2024's Antrim County, Michigan.
23.11.2025 22:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So, you take Elon Musk at his word? Election systems are not connected to the internet, have layers of security measures, and are validated by audits of paper ballots. There is simply no evidence that Musk had the access necessary to change votes and thousands of election workers didn't notice.
23.11.2025 22:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As I said, I'm a lawyer, not a statistician. If I could find the Complaint that they have filed in PA, I would be happy to review it and let you know my thoughts. But I can tell you that I reviewed the letter that ETA sent the Commonwealth of PA earlier this year, and it was riddled with errors.

23.11.2025 21:36 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0@jillocrat.bsky.social, @r5-to-philly.bsky.social is well-versed in elections in PA and has been part of an informal group of fact checkers who has been debunking lies about elections since 2020. He knows what heβs talking about. And why should you believe me? 1/2
23.11.2025 21:36 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0He withdrew his candidacy before the petition challenge was heard, so the county never did the signature review that could have answered that question.
23.11.2025 00:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Letβs not forget he was also a sitting member of the AZ House of Representatives when he forged the signatures.
23.11.2025 00:19 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Many of us learned long ago that there is no "Legal Philosophy" in the Federalist Society. It is a club that gives members a leg up in the competition for certain judicial clerkships and jobs in the Trump administration. That is it. Period.
