A/Prof Claus Christopherson is a microbiologist specialising in the role of the gut microbiome in health and diseases focusing to close the gap and further understanding of the complex interaction between the gut microbiome, diet, disease and the host response.

Meet esteemed committee member A/Prof Patricia Price. A/Prof Price has been involved in coordinating CBSM for over 20 years and currently lends her expertise in the review and selection of conference abstracts.

Welcome Dr Peter Solomon, our CBSM 2025 plenary speaker! Dr Solomon has generated over 150 research articles making significant progress in understanding the intricacies of plant-microbe interactions and how these impact our economic and food security.

Meet esteemed committee member Sue fletcher. Sue has served on the CBSM committee since 1992, taking on various roles over her tenure. She currently contributes to print media for the meeting: creating our vibrant conference booklets.

As our long-standing secretary, Dr Rea has been and continues to be a pivotal member of our CBSM committee. Their efforts and continued support in organising our annual meetings has been integral to our more than 30 year success at CBSM.
