I played Harvest Island in October 2023 for Lady Gamers, & gave it the highest rating even with its flaws. Seeing this solo dev keep returning to this project to polish it makes me so happy. I look forward to trying the future version, & hope it still glows with personality.

Meanwhile, farm sims keep updating? Each time I open my Steam deck I'm seeing an announcement from a different farm sim I haven't thought about in like a year?

Anyone else spinning the new Mitski album today? Mmmmmm.

Roadwarden demo: very up my alley, the music & writing drew me right in. Feels like a great balance of dropping you right into things but letting you access the knowledge you need for context.

Obsidian Moon demo: not great on Deck, but I enjoyed plodding along anyway until I think something got stuck. Vibes are super promising though, I'll look forward to the full game!

Cornucopia was always an okay game, but I put it down to give it time for updates. Today, it updates so that EACH NPC has a five-scene story arc to unlock via friendship. THAT'S OVER FIFTY. & your dialog choices in these cutscenes changes the final scenes.
That is SO COOL.
