CC has been a good homelab implementation assistant, but lately there have been a few very premature announcements of success that have me thinking about how I need to update CLAUDE . md or maybe write an /inner-critic agent or /imposter-syndrome skill...

I feel weird about asking Claude Code help me debug an offline Claude Code setup. Kinda like I’m cheating on Online Claude with his twin Offline Claude.

Ask Claude Code about it. Say, "I've been doing this <reference details and statement of process>, but I'm not sure it's the best approach. Review and recommend improvements."

It would be interesting to try that with Copilot and compare it to Claude Code.

For me, Claude Code is a homelab mentor, an ADHD body double, an assistant, a “bounce ideas off of” peer, a tutor, and a project manager. And probably more.

Thanks! I needed to see that screenshot. I've been wondering how Claude Code could hand off work to my local Ollama server -- use an MCP server like you show being used with Gemini Pro. Now my mind is spinning with ideas of subagents, etc. Cool!

First I've heard of square years and then I realize that I'm in one right now. 64.

I used MoCA adapters to add ethernet backhaul to an upstairs mesh wifi unit. Wifi speeds doubled (on average) and the home network is more stable.

Seeing your note to the right, what do you recommend for a secure disk erase? I've used the default number of passes (3, I think) with 'shred' and figured it would make me feel better and keep the lazy bad guys from getting anything.
