Who has laid on a bed of nails and torn their own fingernails out in shame because Arsenal dare to be top of the league playing in such a beastly way?

If not, chirpier options are available. Here's Handbrake Off, with @ianstonecomedy.bsky.social and @gunnerblog.bsky.social

Amidst all the high level corruption and made up prizes for cunts that FIFA are involved with, they've now fundamentally changed the game for advertising revenue (dressed up as player welfare).

That we can't have 45 minutes without an ad-break is absurd. #InfantinoOut

A lot of the bottling/feeling the pressure narrative seems increasingly more like physical and mental exhaustion from a lot of football with no Xmas break for our core group. The whole β€˜still in four competitions!’ thing is a probably much tougher than most of us can imagine.

He’s also been the most constant midfield presence in a side that has gone from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 at times. His football brain is really underrated along with his availability. So glad we signed him instead of Liverpool, city or Real Madrid

Zubimendi was poor yesterday and has struggled recently (some big games have exposed him a little bit) but this season he's played:

πŸ”Ί More outfield minutes than any other Arsenal player
πŸ”Ί Run more (km) this season than any other Arsenal player
πŸ”Ί Run more (km) this season than any other PL player

The other thing that annoys me about this is we protested the horseshoe of death and now we are crying out for it.

I love that we are trying to get it forward to Gyok and Eze quicker and losing a little control.

02.03.2026 13:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I think we need him to get on the ball and calm us down - Jorginho, Odegaard more natural controllers - but I'm not shocked he's flagging; in one of the most physically demanding positions in the most physically demanding league.

The same thing happened to Timber - mental fatigue just as important.

Welcome to an episode of Carry On Handbrake, which took an unexpectedly bawdy turn towards the end. A few giggles as well as the usual chatter as we look ahead to the weekend. With @ianstonecomedy.bsky.social and Art de Roche.

I'm sure the intensity of the title race mean Arsenal fans are primarily concerned about fixture placement/recovery from that perspective, but...

It's so so disrespectful to supporters, particularly away fans, to move that Everton game so late in the day. Really really poor stuff.

It really means so much. To see that level of high and positive energy, with 10 games left: they’ll start to believe in themselves again and rightly so. Fantastic response: they’ll start to played the game not the occasion in that second half.

Was severely worried that Saka suffered a high ankle sprain, the fact he is walking around at full time with his teammates and the fans is very positive.

Nice of them to keep the music on for us. You'd think they'd just turn it off. Stadium operations folks must be secret gooners.

Fair play though. Spurs would be brilliant for the Championship.

Can we also take a moment to laugh at just how bad spurs actually are? Like really, hilariously relegation-fodder bad. 🀣

Credit for controlling what they can control. Can’t fix Wednesday’s draw. But did exactly what we all wanted in response

I might be a bit delayed on reading messages. My spurs mate will be watching and probably spoiling goals so l'Il be safe checking my phone a minute or two after

Ok lol

Hopefully just flooding your messages with,
"Fucking Eze AGAIN!"

I would hope that the players have learned to kill off games based on how they were hunting Spurs in the 90th minute. Thank god we were playing this Spurs team. Hopefully onwards and upwards from here, plenty more football to play.

22.02.2026 18:44 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Was struck by how there was so often a second Arsenal attacker near him. The narrative early seasons was (to arguably save face) he was making space for others > now it seems like with Eze or Saka pinching in or even Ø after the sub - they can actually interact with him. Huge performance by Vik

22.02.2026 18:44 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Gyokeres best performance for us to date. He was excellent.

22.02.2026 18:55 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Eze doesnt touch the ball very often but when he does he always causes trouble. This time Arteta keep him as number 10. There was so much fluency in the team today. And Saka was back in his best position. Raya produced another one of his world class saves

22.02.2026 18:57 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

When Gyokeres is more involved we win he had about 40 touches compared to the Wolves game he had 8 touches.
