I love when I see an event dated a couple months away that I'm actually interested in going to, only to have the promoter hit me up and ask me if I want to join the lineup. Yes, yes I do.

I met that dude when his band came through the venue I worked at. One of our staff kept calling him "Malcom" to try and piss him off until he was like "Listen, I'm retired and set for life and I'm not even 30. You can't come close to bothering me" and I've respected him ever since.

To be extra clear, I'm not judging anybody for this. I just say it because I've been through it, multiple times. Talk a bunch of shit about somebody and they wind up dead, it's a tough feeling even if they are your full-blown enemy.

I havent decided if Im gonna say this on Fbook, the echo chamber is severe there, but there's a guy that lots of the East Coast rave scene is piling on after some drug fueled lies about his success. Be sure you have lots of indifference stored up in case he ODs while you're cracking jokes for likes.
