I will also say, this was the most obvious movie tie-in ever. It stops the previous storyline dead in its tracks to keep eyes on a character I do not care for, to promote a movie I do not care for. Apologies to any Aquafans but I just could not get into it.

Finally, Justice League (2018) issues 10-13, plus 2 Aquaman specials. The Drowned Earth arc. Had I known going in that half of the trade would center around Aquaman, I probably would not have picked it up, but it was fine. I didn't have any major emotional investment in the story. Love Black Manta.

I'm briefly going to mention Issue #8 and #9 as well, covering the Good Morning Moon storyline. (plus some Batman Who Laughs bullshit, which I don't care for.) It was a nice one off story, though definitely feels like random filler in this type of book. Jorge Jimenez is great, his art has carried.

As a Scott Snyder fan from Absolute Batman, this was not it. There's just so much going on, too much emphasis on the scale of the story. Everything is jumbled in excessive sci-fi multiverse dialogue, which is not for me.

May have to split this into a few parts since theres 2 very different stories in here. Overall thoughts, mixed, a little dissapointing. Feels like theres so much going on yet so little actually has weight. Says a lot without meaning much.

Something endearing about a low budget alien invasion survival movie. It was definitely corny and by the numbers at times but i enjoyed it enough, maybe ill give the sequel a watch. Reminded me a lot of the best parts out of season 7-9 walking dead.

Yeah not gonna hold it to you this movie is buns. Grandma put on the english dub for it and the voice direction was god awful. It felt like those memes of the overexaggerated anime dub clips of Dexter and Breaking Bad. We couldnt even finish it, funny tho

Watched cuz the monsters were cool, yeah it was a cool movie. Been on my radar for some time. It's a simple movie in a weird ass world. It was very pleasant to watch visually.
