I have now officially played Vantage from @stonemaiergames.com and it has exceeded my hopes and expectations. It won’t be a game for everyone but it delivers on what it promises to deliver on and while you can make comparisons to games that have similarities, it is distinctly unique.

Tonight is a game that I am so incredibly hyped for:

Regicide Legacy from Badgers From Mars.

The original isn’t a game I play a lot but I think about it often and this version is INCREDIBLE.

Tonight is Living Forest Duel! Living forest is probably my favorite lighter weight game and Duel captures the spirit and design (and the amazing art!) in a very tense two player game.

I am very bad at this game but that does not impact my enjoyment of it.

Tonight is Etherstone Deluxe which is amazing in both art and design.

Tabletop industry becomes poster children of tariff collapse The Gray Lady is about 15 years too late noticing the cracks in the facade.

I don’t love Rascal for a few reasons and their necessitating signing aggravates me but i really enjoyed this read.

I had to travel all the way to Calgary to finally play Pixies and I was not disappointed.

It’s got a ton of variability and it definitely is it’s own thing BUT it feels like Lords of Waterdeep 2.0 in all the best ways. Can’t wait to play it again. I think i’ll have to grab the expansion and upgrade kit.

It’s a worker placement game set in the Kinfire universe! Each player takes on the role of a councillor overseeing the city and there are 6 unique options, plus six unique workers.

Each turn you place workers to gain resources, deal with cultists and threats and vote on decrees

Tonight is Kinfire Council, the Base Game. So far it is very, very interesting

Sunday afternoon was Shadow of the Weird Wizard, my favorite RPG with Jenn, Jordan C, Shawn and Campbell!

And today was just a relaxed day with Jenn. Video games, lunch at the mall, board games, Nando’s for dinner then more video games.

Now it’s 364 more days of grind and we’ll do it all again.
