07.11.2025 11:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In the past, in my experience, bad customers were mainly either drunk and entitled or else minor celebrities, the kind who have tasted just enough fame to be complete arseholes; Graham Linehan, for example, seemingly made a point of always coming in five minutes after lunch service had started and asking for breakfast while his companions ordered from the lunch menu. βTheyβd tell him to fuck off at McDonaldβs,β weβd mutter, but make him his bacon sandwich anyway. In fact, we would have told him to fuck off too (rather more politely) if he hadnβt been then-beloved sitcom writer Graham Linehan, years before his reinvention as extremely divorced transphobe. We should have realised.
Fantastic little vignette about Glinner from today's @vittles.bsky.social newsletter (I highly recommend subscribing btw, if you're in any way interested in food).

This is the incredible insight we pay a peak adviser to have.
This really hasnβt gotten enough attention this week.
