As a Canadian, I would add that it's not just Trump that's the issue. It's also those elected to Congress (on both sides of the aisle) and your activist SCOTUS, who enable him.

This isn't a one-off election issue, because everyone in power seems to have bought into the Trump ends (if not the means)

A modern replica of a 2nd-century Romano-British owl fibula, presented in a black gift box. The brooch is gold-toned with a teal enamelled body decorated with red and yellow circular details, and orange eyes. A printed card behind it shows a line drawing of the original and reads "Romano British Owl Brooch, 2nd Century AD."

These three brooches are replicas of real Roman fibulae spanning the 1st to 3rd centuries AD. Originally inlaid with enamel and glass, and genuinely quite stylish for objects that are nearly two millennia old.
