GwenFox and StaleDragon are two twin siblings who are five years old. Their mother (who's face we cannot see) says to them "You two should spend time with your new dad!". GwenFox and mom walk into the distance, as StepDad kneels in front of StaleDragon. StepDad has a bald head with an X obscuring his eyes and nose. The man wears a white tank top with ripped jeans, sporting various tattoos, "WHITE" on his right arm and "POWER" on his left arm. StepDad leans in and whispers "Mixed race kids barely exist, but when they do; they're lucky to be alive. You got that in you, BOY." Stale looks terrified.

GwenFox (still a little kid) is drawing something while an argument is happening on the other side of the door. The voices say: "Why do the twins have to visit HIS mom? Why not your parents?" "My folks are outta time! She's still their family." StepDad opens the door and asks "Ya ready go?", GwenFox responding with a nod and stimming arms as she holds her drawing proudly. Step Dad gestures towards where his eyes would be saying "Mother dearest says y'all gotta see grandma slant eyes before Christmas." We then see drawing Gwen drew: Her bà nội (grandma). StepDad continues: Don't think about eating the cat when we come back!

GwenFox is now a teenager sitting in the passenger seat in a car with one of her aunts. This aunt has messy long hair with a minus symbol where her eyes and nose would be. Aunt: Excited to see your other aunts? GwenFox: Oh definitely! Aunt: It's too bad you don't speak Vietnamese! GwenFox: Oh. Uh, yeah. Bà Nội never taught me. Aunt: (continues) And you act so WHITE! How would they even know you're related? As this is said, from Gwen's perspective Aunt is zooming farther away from her.

GwenFox is now an adult working in a warehouse. As she's picking up a box, an older man with an # where his eyes/nose would be who works with her looks down at her and says "One of the co-workers says you're Vietnamese!" GwenFox hesitates to answer, "....yeah, I am." Coworker: Crazy. man. You're as white as they come. Hehehe. I bet nobody can 'call you out' by pulling the 'race' card!" As the coworker walks away, GwenFox turns her head and glares.
